You know what I find annoying? When your phone is locked, you can’t listen to YouTube music.
It doesn’t matter if you have an iPhone or an Android, it doesn’t work either way.
Well, perhaps I should say it previously didn’t work – but now there’s a hack which will let you listen to YouTube music when your phone is locked.
If you have an Android phone, all you need to do is open Google Chrome and search for www.youtube.com.
Once there, tap on the three dots on the right-hand side of the screen while will pull up the home menu. Click on ‘desktop’. Once there, you’ll be able to pick a song or playlist that you can listen to while your phone is locked.
If you’re trying to listen on your iPhone, you’ll have to download and use a different browser than Safari (Dolphin is recommended). Once completed, go to www.youtube.com in the browser and pick the video/playlist you want to listen to. Exit the app and lock your phone. The music will then play.
