Pictures and videos of Lola Astanova, also known as The Piano Slayer, will have you tickling your own ivories if you know what I mean.
I did! Multiple times!
The lovely 32-year-old Uzbekistan-born American is the most beautiful classical pianist I have ever seen. She is far more captivating and voluptuous than Van Cliburn, Peter Nero and Ferrante & Teicher. Heh heh, heh heh.
Her Instagram account and YouTube videos are music to my eyes. I can watch her play Chopin while she wears a short dress and high heels.
On her YouTube channel, she offers such selections as:
- Andante Spianato & Grande Polonaise Brillante: Short black dress and black high heels.
- Ballade n°1 in G minor: Skimpy red dress and purple high heels.
- Ballade n°4 in F minor: Beige low cut dress and matching high heels.
Whoa!
Astanova also plays contemporary music, which is on display in her latest video, “La La Land,” with cellist Stjepan Hauser.

She doesn’t know it, but Astanova is now the special lady on my Liszt.
