Earlier today reports surfaced suggesting the Miami Heat put forth a Goran Dragic trade offer. It wasn’t anything overly impressive, though considering the circumstances it might have been the best thing the Suns were going to get.
Apparently that’s the case as the Suns traded Goran Dragic to the Miami Heat.

According to Bleacher Report, Danny Granger and two first-round draft picks will be sent to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Goran Dragic:
Marc Stein of ESPN.com first reported word of the deal. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports also reported that the two sides were finalizing the agreement.
John Gambadoro of 98.7 KTAR reported that Dragic is headed to Miami in exchange for two first-round picks and Danny Granger.
This move is likely better than the previously mentioned deal which would have sent Josh McRoberts, Norris Cole and Chris Andersen (Birdman) to the Suns as the Heat will be able to retain a large portion of the bench and only lose Granger in the process.
As for the Suns, they didn’t need all those additional bodies and were only interested in the draft picks.
