Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly was quick to point out he’s been receiving heavy trade interest for quarterback Sam Bradford, whom he acquired from the St. Louis Rams a few short days ago.
Many chuckled at the idea, though perhaps Kelly wasn’t bluffing as there are now rumors suggesting the Philadelphia Eagles could attempt to trade Sam Bradford to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for the No. 2 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. That would then allow the Eagles to select Marcus Mariota out of Oregon, assuming Jameis Winston is taken by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the first overall pick.
The Titans of course need a quarterback after Jake Locker decided to retire, but would Sam Bradford be what they’re looking for?!
Interesting to hear some coaches @kwhite8 pro day who said not convinced w/ Kelly/Bradford. They think SB still bait for Titans, not sys fit

Obviously if the Eagles and Titans were to make a Sam Bradford trade, the quarterback would just be a small part of the package returning to Tennessee which would also include a handful of draft picks and potentially some additional players.
Still, for now it’s nothing more than rumors and speculation though it’s something to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
