ESPN personality Skip Bayless doesn’t have a ton of fans and he can check one more off his list, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman.
Known mostly for his shock factor and out there opinions, Bayless previously called the current FOX broadcaster gay which hasn’t sat well with Aikman over the years. He expressed his frustration to Sports Illustrated recently.
“I’m upset about it because it was made up and there was nothing accurate about anything that was insinuated,” Aikman mentioned to well known anti-Bayless fan, Richard Deitsch of SI.com. “And he did it, as he does everything, just for attention.
Aikman went on clearly to suggest he has no issue with gay people or their lifestyle, but didn’t appreciate Bayless suggesting it was something he participated in. He also went on to say that he wishes he would have confronted the issue when Skip Bayless brought it to light and it obviously continues to bother him considering he’s still speaking about it.
Of course, as Troy Aikman notes, it’s just Skip Bayless being Skip Bayless and looking to keep his name in the media – something he’s proven to be very successful in doing.
I guess the two won’t be exchanging any Christmas cards this year.
