Have you ever been sitting around at 3 PM, wishing you could get yourself an Egg McMuffin or perhaps a Big Breakfast? Yeah, me either, but in case you have, McDonald’s has great news for you.
According to CNBC, the fast food restaurant plans to serve breakfast all day, though, for now it’s nothing more than a trial basis.
For years McDonald’s has only served breakfast in the morning, usually ceasing such operations at about 10:30 AM. From that point on it’s only their lunch/dinner menu. But that’s soon to change as McDonald’s will serve breakfast all day.
Fast-food giant McDonald’s is making an early step toward extending breakfast hours to all-day long.
The chain plans to test all-day breakfast in one U.S. market within the next month or two, according to a note on Monday from Janney Capital Markets, citing industry sources.
For those obsessed with McDonald’s breakfast, it’s great news, assuming the trial run has success.
Why it’s taken McDonald’s so long is beyond me considering you can order breakfast at just about any other fast food joint across the country at any time of the day.
