There was a time, not all that long ago, in which Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden were set to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to the promised land.
But then contracts got in the way and Harden was traded to the Houston Rockets.
It’s a move that has left many wondering where the Thunder would be (outside of massively financially strapped) had they kept James Harden, including Bill Simmons of ESPN who can’t seem to keep reflecting on the deal.
But enough is enough, at least for Kevin Durant, who told Bill Simmons that he needs to let it go on social media.

The James Harden trade has been something of a sore spot for Kevin Durant as he’s continually been asked about the deal, at times almost blamed because of his large contract being part of the reason as to why the deal was made.
That of course only has a small shed of truth in it and the once quiet Durant is now pretty vocal when it comes to protecting his basketball franchise that he now says he wants to retire with.
