From Star Wars to Marvel, we’ve seen a lot of neat football helmets and their concepts hit the internet over the past few months. Today is no different after The RSVLTS attempted their hands at creating concept helmets, but they didn’t go with popular ‘comic’ characters.
No, their inspiration came from TV – specifically HBO and the ever popular Game of Thrones series.
The RSVLTS decided to turn Game of Thrones houses into NFL helmets and the end result was pretty impressive.
It’s a bit difficult to see what NFL (or possibly even college football) teams were used as the base for the Game of Thrones football helmets, but either way the end result came out looking really good.
Perhaps House Stark was an attempt to be the Oakland Raiders?
And maybe House Lannister was a possible San Francisco 49ers helmet?
The whole Game of Thrones helmets collection is pretty rad, so I highly suggest you check them out, especially if you’re a fan of the show which I think is now some kind of law.
As for my favorite, I think it has to be the House Stark as it looks like something you’d see on a college of NFL football field. Then again, so do most of them.
