With Nike taking over as the primary uniform sponsor for the Tennessee Vols this season, a new look was coming. But what kind of look? Would they stay tradional? Would they opt for more of an Oregon Ducks look and be all over the map?
Well, they kind of did both.
Like most college football uniforms that Nike supplies, there are a handful of jersey combinations that the Vols will wear next season but they did tend to keep everything rather classy. In other words, we aren’t going to see 23 different football helmets and the famed checkerboard pattern will remain on the Vols jerseys. Well, some of them, at least.

I have to admit, the new Vols jersey does look a little bit like the Texas Longhorns, though, it could just be the picture.
My personal favorite out of the Vols jersey collection though is the ‘new’ black alternate they’ll be wearing.

I’m a sucker for a black jersey and you aren’t going to find many better than this.
