Green Bay Packers TE Andrew Quarless Arrested For Shooting Gun

Green Bay Packers Fans

We’re just a few hours into our 4th of July holiday weekend and there is already an NFL player behind bars.

That player is Green Bay Packers tight end Andrew Quarless who was arrested in Miami for allegedly shooting a gun into the ground, twice.

Why exactly Quarless decided to do such is beyond me (it’s been said that a fight was starting to break out), but it currently has him sitting in a Dade County jail.

It’s not really a holiday weekend in Miami until a professional athlete gets arrested in South Beach. So get those Fourth of July firecrackers ready because early this morning, Green Bay Packers tight end Andrew Quarless got the weekend started.

Quarless ended up in police custody after firing a gun twice into the ground, according to Miami Beach police.

Police say the pro football star got into a fight near 4th Street and Washington Avenue that led him firing his gun around 5:30 a.m.; Quarless allegedly tried to flee the scene but was apprehended by a pair of officers. He was charged with discharging a firearm in public.

Who knows exactly what went down here or why the Green Bay Packers tight end did what he did. Perhaps he was trying to defend himself in a struggle. Maybe he was just being dumb. Either way, we’ll find out soon enough.

Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers just stays discount doublechecking with Olivia Munn somewhere, enjoying life.[/sociallocker]

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
