Now introducing, you’re Fresno Tacos.
It’s probably not a phrase you’d ever expect to hear uttered at a baseball game, though, that’s exactly what’s going to happen in a few weeks when the Fresno Grizzlies take the field.
The AAA-affiliate of the Houston Astros, the Frenso Grizzlies – who previously spent the past few seasons as the San Francisco Giants Triple-A squad – plan to change their name to the ‘Tacos’ for one game.
Seriously, talk about some over the top, but great promotion.
Best. Jersey. Ever. Astros’ Triple-A affiliate will change team name to “Tacos” for a game. (via @FresnoGrizzlies) pic.twitter.com/k0cJfgmGYg

It’s almost a shame that this didn’t happen a few years back, because I’m pretty sure a Tim Lincecum, Buster Posey or Matt Cain ‘Tacos’ jersey would have been the best selling baseball jersey we’ve seen in a long time. Would have been pretty nice to get your hands on a Jose Altuve or Carlos Correa Tacos jersey as well.
Rergardless, the Houston Astros minor league team changing their name to ‘Tacos’ is pretty awesome.
