When New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski isn’t hitting on reporters, he’s trolling the NFL and it’s pretty damn funny.
As you likely heard, New England is currently under investigation for allegedly deflating balls during the AFC Championship against the Indianapolis Colts. As of right now nobody knows if such actually took place, though the video evidence is slightly damaging especially given Bill Belichick’s reputation. That said, Gronk has his own beliefs as to why the balls were lacking air.
His touchdown celebrations.
Gronkowski is known to spike the ball after he scores and considering how frequently he does so, he decided to hint the ball deflation was all because of him.

Credit where credit is due – that’s a pretty damn good troll job, especially when it was directed at the league office.
Gronk isn’t the only New England Patriots player who thinks deflate-gate is a bit absurd considering Tom Brady all but laughed off the suggestion recently.
For what it’s worth, the Patriots say they will comply with whatever the NFL needs and will assist in the investigation. Gronk apparently doesn’t care though as his two worries are scoring and well, scoring.
