Dion Waiters Takes Shot At LeBron James, Cavs

Dion Waiters

When the Cleveland Cavaliers signed LeBron James and Kevin Love this past offseason, Dion Waiters (for whatever reason) appeared to believe little would change. He’d still get his normal amount of shots and have the Cavs offense run through him. That of course was an incredibly silly suggestion and belief which eventually got Waiters shipped out of town to the Oklahoma City Thunder in a three-team trade.

Now the shooting guard appears to have taken a shot at his former teammates and team while praising Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook by suggesting he now gets shots, something he wasn’t getting with the Cavs.

“Listen,” Waiters said, “they give me the ball. Like, I touch the ball. Like, I actually, like, you know, touch the ball.”

It seems rather obvious that Waiters was throwing shade at LeBron James and the Cavs considering his apparent “shock” that he can now touch the rock.

Of course, it might not be as good as Dion Waiters is making it out to be in Oklahoma City because Thunder players are still shunning him a bit as he continually asks for the ball. Apparently, he’s never met a shot he didn’t like, except for the one’s he didn’t get in Cleveland.
