NBA Rumors: Rajon Rondo Unhappy With Sacramento Kings

Rajon Rondo

The Sacramento Kings have yet to play a regular season game and starting point guard Rajon Rondo – their key offseason free agent signing – is already unhappy.

Rondo, who’s been known to be a bit of a problem child during his NBA career, was recently asked about his relationship with head coach George Karl.

It’s apparently not going well, as noted by the point guard in an interview with Cowbell Kingdom.

“It’s not been going too well. We got into a couple arguments the last couple of days. Hopefully, we continue to talk, and it will get better.”

Partly due to his injury woes, partly due to the high calibar play of Darren Collison and partly because it’s the preseason, the Kings have limited Rajon Rondo’s minutes though its not known if that’s the reason for the arguments.

Either way, Rondo isn’t the first member of the Sacramento Kings roster to have an issue with George Karl as DeMarcus Cousins was none too happy with head coach late last year. They of course join a long line of fellow NBA players who’ve expressed frustration playing under George Karl.

Meanwhile, Rajon Rondo of course lost his job with the Dallas Mavericks last season as he and Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle were unable to find a middle ground.
