So picture this – you’re in San Francisco on vacation. You decide to hit up the local landmarks including Alcatraz Island.
After arriving, you make your way to the dock where you’re stuck in line just feet from the water. Then out of the corner of your eye, a seal breaches the water, who is quickly devoured by a hungry Great White shark.
Sounds like something out of Jaws, right? Well, it’s real because it happened earlier this week and the Alcatraz shark attack went viral.
There’s not a ton of Great White shark in the video, namely more blood and pieces of the seal floating around, but you can catch a glimpse of shark a few times if you look close enough.
As if escaping Alcatraz wasn’t difficult enough back in the day, the few that even made it into the icey waters had to deal with this.
