Watch: Bartolo Colon Fall After Mets Beat Cubs

New York Mets

There’s just something amusing about another person falling. It’s almost embedded into the human DNA to laugh when somebody loses their balance.

That’s all assuming nobody was hurt, of course.

Which is why we can’t help but laugh at this video of Bartolo Colon falling after the Mets beat the Chicago Cubs to take a 2-0 series advantage in the National League Championship Series.

The aging Mets pitcher was seemingly making his way back to the Mets clubhouse when he either tripped over something on the ground or simply lost his footing. Either way, the Bartolo Colon fall was epic – namely because it was Bartolo Colon.

In fairness to Bartolo, walking on concrete with cleats on is pretty much like trying to walk on ice wearing high heels – not that I’ve ever done so or anything of that nature. Uh, a friend told me. Yeah, that’s it. A friend.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
