Disney Talking ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ Reboot With ‘Deadpool’ Writers

It’s been said you can never have too much of a good thing, though, might Disney be biting off a little more than they can chew with yet another ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean’ movie? Apparently not, as they’re reportedly in talks with ‘Deadpool’ writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick to write the script for an alleged reboot of the movie series.

Famed director Jerry Bruckheimer will continue to captain the ship as producer on Pirates of the Caribbean, but it’s unknown who else might be back to reprise their roles on screen, including Johnny Depp, who might have become the most famous pirate of all-time by playing Jack Sparrow through the first five films. T first five films grossed north of $4.5 billion over 14 years, so it seems safe to assume they’ll green light production eventually, with or without some of the famed cast of characters.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
