When you think of Bryce Harper, you think of intense.
And when you think of Jonathan Papelbon, while that definition might come to mind, there are plenty of other choice words you could pick from.
Some of those probably crossed your mind today when Papelbon attacked Bryce Harper in the Washington Nationals dugout.
The two could be seen having some words when Harper was walking off the field into the Nats dugout. Jonathan Papelbon continued to jaw at his teammate, before Harper stopped and said something to the Nationals closer.
Moments later the two were going at each other in a rather epic brawl and headlines of a Bryce Harper and Jonathan Papelbon fight were all the rage.
While I can’t say this is something expected, given their two overly strong personalities, it’s not exactly shocking to see a Bryce Harper and Jonathan Papelbon fight. Still, this all but ends any type of shot the pitcher had to re-sign with the Nationals in the offseason (which probably wasn’t much in the first place).
Nothing like a good Bryce Harper and Jonathan Papelbon fight to end the Nationals disappointing season.
