Last night, the Kansas City Royals saved themselves from owning one of the worst records in Major League Baseball history.
They were just innings away from being shut out for five consecutive games – amassing 43 straight innings of scoreless baseball.
The reason for this? Terrible hitters, of course. That and their general manager apparently hates porn.
Per TMZ Sports:
The Royals exec was talking to the media about pitcher Danny Duffy‘s DUI — when he was asked if there were “educational protocols” in place to help keep other players out of trouble.
That’s when Moore revealed team programs to educate players about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and porn.
“We talk about pornography and the effects of what that does to the minds of players and the distractions … And how that leads to abuse of — domestic abuse — to abuse of women.”
Moore said the team also discusses how porn impacts relationships.
Maybe if the Royals watched August Ames and Romi Rain slob on a knob or two, they’d relax a bit more at the plate and actually do what porn stars are so good at.
