Troy Tulowitzki Trade Rumors: Nationals, Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers Possible

Troy Tulowitzki

For years we’ve heard Troy Tulowitzki trade rumors swirling, yet the Colorado Rockies let the noise pass by without even blinking an eye.

That has seemingly changed though as the talented, though oft-injured shortstop has tired of losing and the Rockies don’t appear ready to win for at least a few more seasons. Given that, Troy Tulowitzki trade rumors have began yet again but this time they appear to be rather serious.

Assuming that to be the case, where is the All-Star likely to land in a trade? Nobody really knows, though CBS Sports reports the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals as a select few who’d have the best chance at such a deal.

Washington likely wouldn’t want to part with top pitching prospect Lucas Giolito, but they also have A.J. Cole, Reynaldo Lopez, Erick Fedde and Joe Ross. They are also known for pulling surprises.

As for the Sox?

But they’ve talked to the Rockies about Tulowitzki in the past, and their current shortstop Xander Bogaerts would be a nice start toward a reasonable package. They also have young pitching in Henry Owens, Eduardo Rodriguez and Brian Johnson.

Jon Heyman goes on to break down other possible trade packages for teams like the Dodgers, Yankees, New York Mets and more though doesn’t seem to nab a favorite out of the bunch – at least not yet.
