Drake might be one of the best selling rappers in the world currently, but that doesn’t mean he’s an easily recognizable face. At least not for some in the UK who confused Drake for Craig David during his appearance at Wimbledon in London.
Yes, Drake, Champagne Papi as he likes to call himself, was thought to be Craig David, the UK baby making singer who enjoyed some mild success here in the States.
I’m going to take a guess and suggest the reporter was simply just having some fun here and mocking Drake a bit. Then again, they do look a lot alike. And they both like to sing in the highest pitches.
Okay, I can see where the confusion comes from.
