Although Mac Miller was in the music industry for only a little more than a decade, the Pittsburgh MC made quite the impression on his peers.
The 26-year-old rapper, who died of a suspected drug overdose on Friday, released his fifth album, Swimming, just last month. He was mourned by his fellow music makers, moments after the sad news of his death broke.
Here are a few celebrities and fellow musicians reacting to news of Mac Miller passing.
I dont know what to say Mac Miller took me on my second tour ever. But beyond helping me launch my career he was one of the sweetest guys I ever knew. Great man. I loved him for real. Im completely broken. God bless him.

One celebrity who has yet to respond to Miller’s passing is former girlfriend Ariana Grande, who dated the MC before her current relationship with Pete Davidson. Grande did however disabled her Instagram comments, after many stupidly started blaming her for Miller’s relapse.
