While the Los Angeles Lakers can still get themselves a solid free agent signing, they’ve reportedly whiffed on LaMarcus Aldridge – this after missing out on Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James last offseason.
That doesn’t take into account their inability to re-sign Dwight Howard, either.
Needless to say, Kobe Bryant has taken a lot of blame for such, especially after reports suggested that the Black Mamba and LaMarcus Aldridge weren’t exactly on the same page during the Lakers free agent meeting with the All-Star big man.
But Kobe Bryant is having none of it as he took to social media where he blasted writers and their ‘sources’ for suggesting that he is the reason for the Lakers free agent failures.

Where there is smoke there is often fire and it’s likely there are a lot of fellow NBA players who are likely turned off at the idea of playing alongside Bryant given his stature and personality. That said, the suggestion is likely overblown and we can understand why Kobe Bryant is less than happy with all the NBA rumors suggesting he’s a large reason why the Lakers are struggling to sign key free agents.
