Say what you will about LeBron James – deep down he’s a pretty good guy. Sure, he might have burned a few bridges with his back and forth between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat, but when push comes to shove King James tends to do the right thing.

You may remember Hill, who had inoperable brain cancer as she made headlines on national TV and ESPN for playing in an MSJ game despite her grim prognosis. By the end of her battle, she along with friends, family and followers had raised over $15 million for the disease.
After her death, LeBron James took to Twitter where he honored Lauren Hill and expressed his condolences to her family.
Dear Lauren Hill, You are the true definition of strength, courage, power, leadership, etc etc! Your time spent on earth will never be…

Sadly Lauren Hill won’t be around to witness James’ honor to her, but a very classy response regardless.
