No matter your feelings for LeBron James, there’s no denying the Cleveland Cavaliers star is one of the more team-oriented guys in the NBA.
From on-court to off-court, he’s always including his teammates. Though, his recent comments might have thrown a little shade their way.
That’s because James was questioned about the health of guys like Kyrie Irving and Iman Shumpert, asking if the Cavs would be better when they’re ‘okay’ (healthy). James wasn’t quick to suggest such, rather saying the only guy that will ever be okay is Jesus Christ.
“I hope we don’t think that way. It’s never that way,” James said, according to Cleveland.com. “When you get your guys back, you prepare just as you prepare before. There’s only one guy ever in the world that everything will be all right when He comes back and that’s Jesus Christ. Other than that, you can’t bank on nobody being OK.”
Well, in fairness, I think that guy plays for the Golden State Warrriors, so….
