Michael Jordan Stops Fight After Floyd Mayweather – Manny Pacquiao

Michael Jordan

I guess when Michael Jordan talks, you listen. At least if you’re two guys in Las Vegas who were none too happy with each other after the Floyd Mayweather – Manny Pacquiao boxing match on Saturday night.

After the event, basketball legend Michael Jordan was making his way out of the MGM Grand Casino and came across two men throwing verbal barbs at each other – one of which was seemingly part of MJ’s security team. They were moments away from going further, but the Chicago Bulls icon was having none of it and told both men to chill out.

That normally probably wouldn’t have been enough to stop the budding fight. In fact, in most scenarios the guy trying to stop it probably would have ended up mixed in the melee, but not when you’re MJ who brings with him an influential word.

I have to give Michael Jordan some credit here – he could have simply ignored the two and walked away (which is probably what I would have done), but instead he opted to take some time out and told them to essentially stop making a fool of themselves – namely the drunk guy.

Impressive.

Then again, Jordan probably didn’t want one of his guys creating a scene and thankfully all was avoided.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
