NBA Finals: Cavs Owner Trolls Warriors Over LeBron James

LeBron James

The NBA has come out and stated referees missed a handful of calls down the stretch of Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. That doesn’t even take into account the calls them missed earlier in the game, but I regress.

Either way, Cavs owner Dan Gilbert took notice of the grabbing and trolled the Golden State Warriors over their desire to mug LeBron James.

Gilbert posted the following message on Twitter, suggesting that if the Warriors want a Cavs jersey or LeBron James jersey, they use a 20 percent coupon code.

Part hilarious, part cocky. Of course, this is the same guy who blasted King James when he originally left the Cleveland Cavaliers to sign with the Miami Heat.

The only part that bummed me out? Twitter wouldn’t allow the Cavs owner to troll the Warriors in his infamous Comic Sans font. If only you could change your font on Twitter.

Regardless, it was a pretty solid troll job on the part of the Cavs owner. Should be interesting to see if the Warriors troll back, especially given the same thing happened to Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, or they let things be handled on the basketball court.
