While it’s always amazing to see your favorite team win a championship, you can’t help but wish they’d do so at home if we lived in a perfect world. Alas, we don’t. And the Golden State Warriors, who had not won an NBA championship in over four decades, defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road.
But the good folks in the Bay Area opened up Oracle Arena to Warriors fans to come and watch their favorite team attempt to win an NBA title.
They did just that indeed, selling out the basketball arena.
