NBA All Star 2015: Steph Curry wins three point contest and breaks NBA record in doing so.

Come the first-round of the 2015 NBA All-Star Foot Locker Three Point Contest, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry looked a little off. His first few shots didn’t go down and many questioned if Dell Curry‘s son was putting too much pressure on himself to win.

After all, Steph Curry routinely talked about how badly he wanted to win the Three Point Contest and appeared to be pressing in the early stages of the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend.

But the Warriors guard and NBA MVP candidate quickly turned things around and ended up having one of the best first rounds thanks to knocking down a variety of his money ball shots.

That was just the start of things though as come the final round, Stephen Curry couldn’t have been cooled down by a fire department as he ended up breaking the NBA’s Three Point Contest record for points scored in a round with 27.

Granted, he had an entire rack full of money balls worth two points each, something prior competitors didn’t have, but you can’t begrudge him for that.

At one point the former Davidson star knocked down 13 shots in a row during the final round sending the crowd into a frenzy.
