Wherever Rudy Gay goes, the team struggles. It happened with the Memphis Grizzlies, it happened with the Toronto Raptors and it has happened with the Sacramento Kings. Given that, you have to wonder what type of interest there is come the NBA trade deadline for Rudy Gay who is apparently hopeful the Kings will trade him.
Per Sam Amico of FOX Sports:
Sounds like Kings forward Rudy Gay pushing for a trade before Thursday's 3 pm EST deadline, per Basketball Insiders.

Gay hasn’t exactly had the best season under George Karl, though played well during his short tenure under former Kings coach (now Nuggets head coach) Mike Malone.
The Orlando Magic were said to be one team interested in acquiring Rudy Gay, though unlikely to part with any of the pieces Sacramento would be seeking in return for Gay.
Outside of Orlando, the interest in Rudy Gay has been mild and Sacramento’s high asking price makes it seem unlikely a deal will happen. Still, it sounds as if the Kings will do what they can to appease their forward.
