Have you ever been playing a game of basketball only to have what you think is a pass coming your way, but at the last moment a teammate snags it?
It’s a mildly deflating feeling, though, it’s nothing compared to what Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Enes Kanter was feeling after Russell Westbrook accidentally put him on a poster.
See, Kanter was running down the court on a fast break against the Phoenix Suns when the basketball started to come his way on an ally-oop. Figuring he had no place to go but up, Kanter decided to begin his elevation for the throw down. Only problem? Russell Westbrook was hot on his heels and decided to take the oop for himself.
The end result was Russell Westbrook, aka Mr. Triple Double, dunking on his own teammate.
Apparently Russell Westbrook has ran out of basketball players to posterize in the NBA, so he’s decided to start embarrassing his own Oklahoma City Thunder teammates.
On the flip side, it’s a bit of karma for Kanter as the night before, the big man verbally blasted his former team, the Utah Jazz which had fans ripping the center apart.
So what have we learned here? It doesn’t matter what team you’re on, Russell Westbrook will put you on a poster.
