Shaq: All-Time Lakers Could Beat All-Time Bulls

Shaq Lakers Bulls

When it comes to basketball analyst work, Shaq isn’t exactly a guy many look to. And that’s probably with good reason, though many are wondering if a recent Instagram post from the NBA great has a point.

Would a team comprised of legendary Los Angeles Lakers players beat a Chicago Bulls team with a similar roster?

Shaquille O’Neal posted a picture of the two rosters on social media, with the Lakers having Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and of course Shaq himself at center.

Meanwhile, his Chicago Bulls roster consisted of Derrick Rose, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and Horace Grant.

On paper, it seems pretty easy to pick the Los Angeles Lakers here as they have a very clear advantage in the front court, even if Dennis Rodman does his butt grab ala the Detroit Pistons. Still, going against Michael Jordan isn’t exactly an easy task.

Even crazier? The man who is pictured on the NBA logo – the man who is defined as ‘The Logo’ – isn’t even on the Los Angeles Lakers roster. Somebody show Jerry West some love, please.
