There isn’t very much similar between Steph Curry and LeBron James on the basketball court, other than each being extremely talented. Though there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to their history considering they both were born in the same Akron, Ohio hospital.
Yep, while much is made about James’ hometown, it’s actually where Steph Curry was born too and he wants to be the first player to bring a title to Akron, well, so to speak.
The Golden State Warriors star was talking about his desires recently and suggested that he means no disrespect towards King James, but he wants to be the one who can raise an NBA championship trophy in Akron – not LeBron.

There was obviously no ill-will here on the part of Stephen Curry, though, it would be mildly ironic if it was he and his Warriors who won the NBA championship allowing Curry to bring home the hardware over James who is beloved in Akron.
You know, the place where Steph Curry lived until he was one-year-old and moved to Charlotte while James spent his entire life (sans the Miami years) in Akron.
