It’s not exactly a secret that Adrian Peterson isn’t thrilled with his current Minnesota Vikings situation, though seems willing to play out the year if the Vikings want him back. If they don’t, the Arizona Cardinals are ready to make a move.
That’s the word from Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports who reports teams are willing to trade their draft picks in exchange for the running back, including the Cardinals who would be willing to part with a ‘high pick’.
How high that is currently is an unknown. A first-round selection would be pretty costly, so it’s more likely to be a second-round pick. Still, it seems clear the Minnesota Vikings could get a solid return in regards to an Adrian Peterson trade.
Adrian Peterson told #Vikings he’s still not happy. Ball totally in their court. If he goes on block, #Cardinals will offer high draft pick.

If Adrian Peterson hits the block, it sounds like #Vikings could at least get a second round pick out of him. They may want more, though.

For now there’s been no indication on what the Minnesota Vikings plan to do with Adrian Peterson, so it appears to be a waiting game on their part.
