Idiot Paints Over Sean Taylor Mural Tribute At Brookland Metro

Sean Taylor Mural

A few days after former Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor was killed in a home invasion, a tribute mural was painted on a Brookland Metro station wall.

For nearly eight years, that mural has remained untouched as it paid homage to the former NFL safety.

Today that has changed however as a moronic person decided to paid over the Sean Taylor mural to promote their political blog. Yes, somebody felt the need to completely destroy the mildly iconic memorial in hopes of getting additional eyes on their blogspot blog.

I mean really, they don’t even have their own domain!?

David Poms, a Washington Redskins fan, first brought attention to the defacing which understandably has fans across the country pretty angry.

My guess here is that somebody, who isn’t a very big sports fan, knew of the Sean Taylor tribute mural and thought painting over it would create a little bit of local controversy. What they probably didn’t expect is that football fans across the country would be outraged with such.

I’m sure a talented artist will fix the tribute mural, but still, what was this person thinking?
