If you watch J.J. Watt play football every Sunday, you’re probably aware the guy isn’t of the same make as you and I. Seriously, if they ever made a Space Jam movie centered around football, he’d totally be able to play for the MonSTAR’s because the guy isn’t human.
Had the Houston Texans had a better season last year, it’s very possible J.J. Watt could have been named the NFL MVP as he was more than deserving of the honor.
But of course, great players can never rest and Watt is no different. So when he’s not watching his Wisconsin Badgers on the basketball court, he’s training like a mad man and completing a 61-inch box jump.
Yes, you read that correctly. JJ Watt just free cleared over a five-foot standing jump.

So essentially the Houston Texans star could freely jump over about 10 percent of the human population.
This doesn’t even take into account the type of leverage J.J. Watt could gain if he had a running start as he’s just jumping from a still position here.
I know one thing – I’m glad I don’t have to line up against this athletic freak every Sunday because he’s terrifying in the best way possible.
