While Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is among the NFL’s elite at the position, when it comes to dealing with the media Lynch is far from a Pro Bowl talent. Not only is he not that good at it, he doesn’t want to do it.
He’ll usually painfully grind through the process but at times in the past he’s simply decided against such. If he does so again, this time during the Super Bowl media day, you could win a truck load of money.
Many of the Super Bowl betting odds have been released and one of the most interesting props available is that of Marshawn Lynch getting fined during media day. Such seems unlikely, but if you have enough balls and Lynch gives the media a cold shoulder you’ll be swimming in coins, Scrooge McDuck style.
The current line features a +800 if Marshawn Lynch is to get fined compared to a +200 if he doesn’t.
It’s actually an interesting call considering it’s pretty unlikely that Lynch will unleash any shenanigans, though he’s probably still rather heated the NFL threatened to eject him if he wore his custom gold cleats in the NFC Championship. Given that, who knows what will happen.
