The San Francisco 49ers have went through a mass of changes in the past week, though it’s been well known that Michael Crabtree was unlikely to return to the football team for some time. So his assumed departure isn’t exactly shocking, though some of the teams expressing interest in the former Texas Tech product might be.
That’s because both the San Diego Chargers and Washington Redskins are said to have eyes on the wide receiver.
John Keim says both the Redskins and Chargers are potential suitors for Michael Crabtree though lists the Bolts as the more likely between the two.
Source says the #Redskins have expressed interest in WR Michael Crabtree, but as of now sounds like #Chargers a stronger possibility.

Crabtree has proven himself to be a solid football player, though, seems to think he’s actually a bit better than he really is. That’s not to say he wouldn’t be a solid addition for either the Chargers or Redskins, but he’s not exactly a true number one wide receiver either, despite the fact he wants to be paid like one.
The Chargers were said to have interest in Percy Harvin and Andre Johnson earlier during NFL free agency, so it appears they’re trying to get the next best thing.
