Some awful news to report this Sunday afternoon as NFL running back Chris Johnson was shot in the shoulder as he was driving around the Orlando area on Saturday night.
Johnson, who has played for both the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans was reportedly in the car with friends when somebody opened fire on their vehicle, hitting Johnson at least once.
He is expected to recover from his injuries without much issue, though according to Ian Rapoport, multiple casualties were reported in the Chris Johnson shooting.

Just terrible news.
Johnson, who most recently played for the Jets, is not expected to return to the franchise after a sub par year and will likely be looking for a new home this season. He’s currently the fifth active leading rusher in the NFL with nearly 8,700 yards racked up.
Our condolences out to Johnson’s friends who were killed in the tragedy.
