Patriots Troll Seahawks’ ‘Legion of Boom’ At Championship Parade

New England Patriots Madden

You may recall, before the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots battled in this past Sunday’s Super Bowl, Richard Sherman and his ‘Legion of Boom’ were plastered on the cover of Sports Illustrated (yes, you can fairly think of the SI curse again).

That apparently didn’t sit well with the Patriots, especially Devin McCourty who seemingly trolled the Seahawks and their ‘LOB’ by posing in a group photo that looked somewhat similar to the one featuring Seattle’s ‘Legion of Boom’ on the Sports Illustrated cover.

The only thing missing were the leather jackets and 1994 R&B group pose, though McCourty and his Patriots teammates probably had no issue replacing such with Super Bowl championship gear.

Of course, despite an incredibly impressive play from Malcolm Butler and an extremely solid Super Bowl from the rest of the New England secondary, I’d venture to guess most would take the Seattle Seahawks’ ‘Legion of Boom’ over the Pats if push came to shove.

Both are very talented though and are worthy of the praise they’ve been getting all season, and in the Patriots case, will continue to get.

I've written on a lot of your favorite websites while I live in my mother's basement. If you only knew what a hard time I'm having holding these alligators down. Woo. | Twitter: @GuyHut | FB: @GuyHutSports
