Richard Sherman Intercepts Aaron Rodgers In NFC Championship (Video)

Richard Sherman

Hate him or love him, there’s no denying Richard Sherman‘s talent. Yes, he will occasionally get burned but more often than not, when a quarterback decides to throw his way he’s going to make a play.

That’s something Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers found out on Sunday afternoon during the NFC Championship.

With the Packers driving, Rodgers lofted up a pass towards the end zone which looked relatively well thrown (sans the floating action). It appeared to be in perfect position for Devonte Adams, though that’s when Sherman’s big mitts rose up and snagged the ball out of his hands.

More than that, Richard Sherman was able to maintain control of the pass and make sure he got his feet down in the end zone before falling out of bounds on what turned out to be a beautiful interception.

Even Aaron Rodgers, who is one of the most talented and accurate quarterbacks in the NFL can’t escape the wrath of Sherman.

It wasn’t all bad for Rodgers and his Packers though as just moments later they were able to get the ball back thanks to a Seattle turnover, negating the Richard Sherman interception.
