I’m not going to name any names here, but during the AFC Championship between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots, there was one member of the Orange Crush who wanted to teabag Tom Brady. But like I said, I’m not going to name the player who many believe to be the culprit even if it sounds like Don Filler.
Regardless, there’s one player on the Broncos who says you should never talk trash to Tom Brady – Von Miller – because he says he’s one of the few quarterbacks who turns it around on you. No, not in a verbal sense, but rather uses the mocking as motivation to beat you as he told FOX Sports.
“Some quarterbacks feed off that stuff,” he said. “Tom Brady, if you start talking trash to him, he’ll put 21 up on you fast. So I just try to do my job — get in and out before they even know what happened.”
Of course, Tom Brady isn’t a strange to trash talk as he’s been captured multiple times jawing back and forth with the opposition, so not only will he put you in your place verbally but he’ll do so with his arm as well.
Seems as if Von Miller and the Denver Broncos got the last laugh this time, though.
