Another day, another teacher busted for sleeping with her students.
In this case, it’s 33-year-old Lindsay Himmelspach, who has spent the last decade as a teacher in California.
She’ll be looking for a new job though, after the physical education teacher was busted for not only having sex with two students, but also for sending them provocative text messages which included videos.
The prosecutor added that the teacher had abused her position of power and trust by having relationships with the two victims, and had deliberately organised places to meet away from the school so as to avoid being caught.
Himmelspach had reportedly also shared sexually explicit videos with both boys.
A decision over whether Himmelspach should be placed on the sex offenders’ list has been postponed by the judge until a hearing in August.
Unlike others who have been given harsh sentences for sleeping with their students, Himmelspach will only be sentenced to 120-days in jail.
