Nearly two months after Amber Rayne’s passing, the Los Angeles County Coroner has released the official cause of death – accidental overdose of cocaine.
Rayne, real name Meghan Wren, died suddenly on April 2nd of 2016 and immediately an outpouring of grief came from the shocked adult world.
Amber Rayne was one of multiple women who accused fellow adult actor James Deen of sexual assault both on and off set.
She spoke to the Daily Beast about it after retiring from porn in 2015.
“We’re friends now and I’ll sometimes bring it up as a joke and you can see it makes him physically uncomfortable when I do, so he does realize something was wrong that day.
“I thought it was an insecurity phase. He was just starting out, he was still a young punk kid coming in and I still didn’t know what the game was.”
Rayne launched her porn career in 2005.
Rayne was 31.
