Today is not a good day to be 24-year-old English teacher Samantha Cox, who is not only unemployed but facing serious jail time after students caught her allegedly doing drugs in her classroom.
According to the report, the Lake Central High School teacher was in her classroom during a scheduled school break when students noticed Cox doing something odd before letting the students in the room.
That’s when they pulled out their phones and started recording Samantha Cox allegedly snorting cocaine.
Per Fox News:
The English teacher was allegedly caught doing drugs after students filmed her with a phone from outside the classroom, according to Fox 32 Chicago.
“It’s absolutely, I can’t’ really describe it. It’s just atrocious,” Kasia Firlej, a parent of a child at the school said to the local news channel.
The video, which made rounds on social media, shows a woman alleged to be Cox sitting in the corner of the classroom using narcotics. It was not immediately clear which substance she was taking.
Fox was put in handcuffs and escorted off school grounds and now awaits trial.
