Oh boy.
Earlier today you were made aware that ESPN SportsCenter anchor Robert Flores took a pretty hard shot at rapper Iggy Azalea, suggesting she was killing hip-hop. Understandably that didn’t sit well with Iggy Igg’s boyfriend, Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young who fired back at Flores on Twitter.
Now a full on escalated beef, it appears Young and Flores might have a BIG-Tupac situation on their hands.
Considering the Lakers are likely to want Swaggy P to remove the tweets, here is a screenshot of what Young issued to Flores:
It seemed pretty evident that Robert Flores was simply trying to make a joke and it was unfortunately Iggy Azalea who was the butt of such. Perhaps he doesn’t like her music, but it didn’t appear there was any ill-will there and he was just having fun (even if it wasn’t the kindest thing to say).
Of course Nick Young, as her boyfriend, isn’t going to sit back and watch his girlfriend get publicly humiliated which now puts us here.
My best guess is ESPN makes Flores apologize and everybody will be holding holds and singing songs in a matter of days.
Poor Iggy – girl just can’t stay out of the line of fire.
