Packers’ Aaron Rodgers May Not Be White Says Seahawks Player

It appears as if Aaron Rodgers‘ skin color has become a topic for discussion, at least according to Earl Thomas of the Seattle Seahawks.

We’ve already heard Thomas question Rodgers’ calf injury and now the All-Pro wonders just how white the Green Bay Packers quarterback really is.

Speaking to reporters recently, Earl Thomas suggested that you don’t often see players of Aaron Rodgers’ skin color play with so much heart and passion.

“You don’t really see a lot of quarterbacks of his skin color with soul like that,” Thomas said. “I like it.”

It was an obvious compliment directed at the way of Rodgers on behalf of Thomas, but it does come across a little weird and unusual. For what it’s worth, Aaron Rodgers hasn’t responded to the unique compliment and probably won’t as it would only open a rather massive can of worms. That’s the last thing he or the Green Bay Packers want as they prepare to take on Earl Thomas and his Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship.

Maybe Thomas is on to something though – maybe Aaron Rodgers isn’t white. Maybe he’s a machine, you know, like Iron Man considering how fitting he looks in the suit along with his teammates in this photoshopped Avengers movie poster.
